Located on the corner of Westwood and Wilshire in Westwood Village, the Hammer Museum is a unique, cutting-edge arts institution that connects the classic and the contemporary through its varied collections, wide-ranging exhibitions, and provocative programs. Available for private events, the Hammer Museum is the ideal event destination for corporate functions, movie premieres, and galas. Offering several versatile event spaces, including: the beautiful Outdoor Courtyard, the grand Museum Lobby, the secluded Lindbrook Terrace, the multifaceted Billy Wilder Theater and functional Gallery 6; the Hammer Museum creates the perfect environment for large or intimate events accommodating 50 to 1,200 guests. OUTDOOR COURTYARD
The Outdoor Courtyard is great for an outdoorsy feeling while still keeping the exclusivity and privacy you and your guests deserve.
CAPACITY: 900 Reception; 500 Seated
WILSHIRE LOBBY
A contemporary setting with a dramatic grand marble staircase, the Wilshire lobby features work by cutting edge artists, which rotates on a regular basis. This area is perfect for a large cocktail reception and a mid-size seated dinner.

GALLERY 6
This gallery and performance space is an ideal multi-purpose setting for lectures, conferences, performances and presentations. Occupancy for theater-style seating is 240 or the space can accommodate 80 guests for a seated event and 300 for cocktail receptions.

GALLERY PROMENADE & LINDBROOK TERRACE
Overlooking the courtyard, the Gallery Promenades and Lindbrook Terrace provide a beautiful and flexible space for private events. These covered balcony areas are adjacent to the galleries and include the Lindbrook Terrace – an outdoor but covered space centered by an enclosed picturesque glass arch overlooking Westwood Village on one side and open to a view of the courtyard below.

LINDBROOK TERRACE ONLY
Overlooking the courtyard, the Lindbrook Terrace is a sheltered and secluded outdoor balcony adjacent to the galleries. Through the magnificently arched window, guests will enjoy sweeping views of Westwood Village and the Santa Monica Mountains. It is an ideal setting for an intimate formal seated dinner for up to 150 or a casual cocktail reception for up to 350.

BILLY WILDER THEATER
The Billy Wilder Theater is situated on the Courtyard level of the Hammer Museum. Equipped with the highest standards of film and video projection and sound, the theater, which cost $7.5 million to complete, is one of the few in the country where audiences may watch the entire spectrum of moving images in their original formats: from the earliest silent films requiring variable speed projection to the most current digital cinema and video. Though built first of all as an ideal screening room for the moving image, the Billy Wilder Theater also provides an intimate and technically advanced showcase for events including artists’ lectures, literary readings, musical concerts, and public conversations.
