The Walker’s shimmering façade and sweeping skyline view, as well as convenient underground

BARNES CONFERENCE ROOM
Perfectly suited for small meetings and more intimate receptions, the Conference Room overlooks the expansive Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. The tasteful and functional space features contemporary art from the Walker collection.

Modern dining with contemporary flair—Wolfgang Puck’s fine dining restaurant gives new meaning to artful dining. The Asian-inspired menu emphasizes Wolfgang’s commitment to serving only the freshest, locally produced ingredients carefully selected from regional purveyors. The restaurant and bar are both available to accommodate a variety of special event scenarios with an excitement unmatched by other Twin Cities’ venues.

GALLERY 8 CAFE AND TERRACES
With 180° views of the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, three terraces perfect for outdoor entertaining and a sleek interior with magnificent artwork and dramatic walls of glass, Gallery 8 allows you to host truly memorable receptions and gatherings.

THE SKYLINE ROOM
Located high above the bustling streets of Minneapolis, the Skyline Room features sweeping views of the downtown skyline, Loring Park and the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. Expansive windows offer a dramatic, light-filled setting, and the flexible floor plan is ideal for hosting medium to large receptions or meetings.

The Walker’s state-of-the-art technical facilities are ideal for multimedia presentations, new product launches, corporate meetings and lectures. Each space features theater-style seating, customizable stages and a wide variety of media options.

CARGILL LOUNGE
This informal space faces the Walker’s four-acre park expansion. The light-filled lounge is located just feet from the Walker’s collection galleries and high profile traveling exhibitions and is perfect for small or mid-sized events.

BAZINET GARDEN LOBBY
The Bazinet Garden Lobby provides event planners a flexible and spacious floor plan, making it the perfect space for all kinds of medium-size events.

Enter a world of innovative art and exceptional cuisine. The General Mills Hennepin Lounge with Wolfgang Puck Catering is the perfect casual event space for cocktail receptions. One With a window long wall, guests can mingle freely throughout the incredible space.

If you’re planning a larger reception, the Main Floor of the Walker Art Center combines two incredible spaces – the Cargill Lounge and the General Mills Hennepin Lounge – creating the ideal space for a cool reception where guests can move from room to room.
