Located in the heart of downtown Seattle, across the street from the Pike Place Market, the ballroom (established in 1939) still boasts its beautiful decostyle architectural details and an oak dance fl oor. Showbox at the Market is fully furnished with house sound and lighting systems, a professional kitchen, four full bars and a multi-level fl oor plan that allows for incredible sightlines. Adjacent to Showbox at the Market is the 100-capacity Green Room, which is perfect for small gatherings, meetings and parties. The Green Room is available for private rental on days when there is no event in the main showroom and offers a sound system, a small stage and a full bar.

SHOWBOX AT THE MARKET

Showbox at the Market features a multi-level fl oor plan that allows for incredible sight lines. On each level, guests can relax and enjoy cocktails on the comfortable lounge furniture. The venue, still boasting its deco-style architecture, can accommodate 1,147 guests when utilized in its �default� room setting, which is a mostly standing-room confi guration. This view from the main stage reveals the showroom�s large oak suspension dance floor. The open nature of the space offers a wide array of possibilities for event planners. Standing bistro tables as well as seated banquet tables work wonderfully in this space.

THE GREEN ROOM

The Green Room is adjacent to Showbox at the Market, and may be rented for a private function when there is no event taking place in the main showroom. The Green Room can accommodate up to 100 guests, and with its own small stage, sound system and full bar, it makes a perfect venue for smaller receptions, private pre-concert parties or off-site company meetings.
