Washington, DC (January 30, 2010) – The Source by Wolfgang Puck will celebrate the Year of the Tiger by taking guests on a five-course culinary tour through China. From Tuesday, February 16th through Saturday, February 20th, Executive Chef Scott Drewno will offer a special tasting menu, priced at $95 per person, or $135 with wine pairings (excluding tax and gratuity).
From Shandong specialties such as Roasted Peking Duck with steamed bao buns to spicy Sichuan dishes like Hot & Spicy Chicken Dumplings with chili "dan dan" sauce, each course will highlight a regional cuisine of China. The special Chinese New Year menu will also include traditional dishes symbolizing luck and longevity such as the Whole Fried Fish for two served with “Budding Chive” noodles.
The Source by Wolfgang Puck is located at 575 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW (entrance on 6th Street). The dining room is open for lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner Monday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday until 11 p.m. The lounge is open from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday and until 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
