Chocolate Fudge Sauce

Ingredients
Serves:
3 tablespoon s
unsalted butter
1/2 cup
water
1/3 cup
heavy cream
2 tablespoon s
honey
1/2 pound
bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
2 tablespoon s
dark rum
  1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan.
  2. Add the water, cream, and honey and bring to a simmer over moderately high heat.
  3. Place the chocolate in a medium, heat-proof bowl and pour the hot cream mixture on top. Let stand until the chocolate melts, about 1 minute, then stir until smooth. Stir in the rum.
  4. Reserve until ready to use.
