CHOCOLATE FUDGE SAUCE
Ingredients
- 3 3 3tablespoons TABLESPOON_USVolumeunsalted butter
- 1/2 .5 .5cup CUP_USVolumewater
- 1/3 .33 .33cup CUP_USVolumeheavy cream
- 2 2 2tablespoons TABLESPOON_USVolumehoney
- 1/2 .5 .5pound POUNDWeightbittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
- 2 2 2tablespoons TABLESPOON_USVolumedark rum
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan.
- Add the water, cream, and honey and bring to a simmer over moderately high heat.
- Place the chocolate in a medium, heat-proof bowl and pour the hot cream mixture on top. Let stand until the chocolate melts, about 1 minute, then stir until smooth. Stir in the rum.
